My technique is to break down topics in simple, practical ways for others to connect with them through stories.
Growth strategy (also called growth hacking, growth marketing, demand-generation, acquisition strategy) is one of my areas of expertise. Yet, I cannot talk about growth without talking about brand identity, digital technology, community building, and cross-functional teams. Often I talk about those areas in order to get to growth.
I am also a woman in tech, first-generation immigrant, born in a country that is still in turmoil. I lived in 7+ cities and learned to practice empathy through cultural immersion. I have a unique voice for individuals who grew up in a third culture other than their parents', have defied cultural stereotypes and find their sense of identity and belonging in the combination of their experiences - instead of one.
